Ideal for both home and office use, this versatile device also offers scanning and copying capabilities. In the ISO/IEC 24734 standard print mode, black documents can be printed at a rate of 10.5 pages per minute (ppm), while color documents can be printed at a rate of five ppm. Of course, these rates may vary depending on the print mode selected.
According to specifications, standard printing produces black pages on plain paper at a rate of 33 ppm. For the same plain paper with an average weight of 75 gsm, color printing has a speed of 15 ppm. However, when printing on Epson Premium Glossy photo paper, the print rate slows to 69 seconds per page.
Additionally, this machine has the capability for duplex printing at a standard model, with speeds of 6 ppm for monochrome documents and 4 ppm for color documents.
